Community Support Worker

Join our dynamic team as a Community Support Worker, to provide assistance to Aged and Disabled Meditech clients across Greater Sydney, Central Coast, Newcastle and Hunter region. Meditech Staffing strives to provide clients with support and encouragement to achieve their goals and to continue living within their own homes.

We work diligently behind the scenes to ensure our clients receive exceptional customer and industry-focused service at all times.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Supporting clients in our community needing assistance with social support, transporting to appointments, shopping or community outings
  • Provide personal care to clients with dignity and respect such as showering, grooming, dressing and others
  • Continue to support clients to live in their own home by providing help with their domestics, meal preparation, cleaning and most importantly, companionship!

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

  • A passionate, caring and empathetic personality is a MUST
  • Willingness to learn new skills on the job through training
  • Candidates from hospitality, retail and customer service industries are encouraged to apply
  • Students in health and medical department are welcome to apply
  • Certificate III or IV in Community, Aged Care, Disability or equivalent is highly desirable
  • Experience in either aged care or community is highly desirable
  • A valid driver’s license and own vehicle is highly desirable
  • Current First Aid certificate (mandatory)
  • Current Police Check (mandatory)
  • NDIS Worker screening check (mandatory)
  • Working with Children Check
  • Flu and COVID-19 Vaccination (fully vaccinated with booster shot) as our work is around vulnerable people (mandatory)

Registered Nurse (Aged Care Facilities)

About the position:

We are looking for passionate Registered Nurses (RNs) to deliver high quality care for clients living in Aged Care facilities, and demonstrate Meditech’s values of Collaboration, Professionalism, Commitment & Reliability at all times.

We have numerous positions and block bookings (minimum two weeks) available at leading Aged Care facilities across Greater Sydney, Central Coast, Newcastle and Hunter region.

New graduate RNs are also encouraged to apply.

To succeed in the role, you must have:

  • Care and commitment for our Aged Care clients.
  • A current AHPRA Registration
  • Experience as a Registered Nurse is an advantage but we encourage New Graduates to apply
  • Reliability and willingness to travel
  • Demonstrate judgement and confidence in your Nursing ability
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development

Your employment offer will be subject to satisfactory background checks such as Police Check, NDIS Worker Screening Check, and Working With Children Check. You will also need to produce a current First Aid Certificate, and evidence of COVID-19 fully vaccinated with booster shot.
