Testimonials and Success Stories

We provide services that are “person-centred” whereby we listen to our clients and facilitate services that matter to them. We would like to introduce some of our valued clients and are pleased to share their personal success journey with you all.

Maria

Belfield NSW

Both my Mum and I were very impressed with Case Managers Georgia’s demeanour and professionalism and she took the time to explain things in plain English where Mum could understand, as her English is good but at times she has difficulties. By the end of the discussion, Mum and I had agreed to commence the use of a Registered Nurse with Meditech.

From the time the Nurse stepped into the house my Mum liked her immediately. Her personality just brightens up. RN Shintelle was professional and down to earth and her approach was the key to make Mum comfortable and show some trust in a stranger. Shintelle has been coming every Friday since 28/11/18 and Mum lights up and smiles when she comes to the door. Mum recently had a minor stroke and Shintelle showed genuine concern and we both discussed the situation, as Mum’s carer Shintelle made me feel more confident with what I am doing with Mum. I know Mum would not want any other nurse to handle her. A credit to both of these people and I would recommend Meditech anytime.

My Son Rowan was fortunate enough to be paired up with support worker Maree from Meditech. Since they have met they have had the most tremendous rapport and a real understanding of each other. Rowan has never been out with a carer before, but Maree has been nothing short of amazing. She believes Rowan has a voice, is a brilliant support to him and has opened up his world and broadened his access to the community. My child is my priority and Maree is a Godsend – Thank you Meditech.

After being disappointed with my previous provider, to date I have found Meditech and their employees to be kind, polite and courteous. I cannot praise them enough and I’m grateful for their service and advice.

Judy is making a splash into the new hydrotherapy program to help increase her mobility. This was made possible by Jenny, our Case Manager. Although Judy has a disability and requires a wheelchair, this has not deterred her from enjoying the water and her hydrotherapy with the aid of our staff in her own pool. Judy feels that this is important to maintain health and muscle tone and is thrilled to be in the pool assisted by our staff every Tuesday.

My Meditech support worker Faith has been teaching me to use my mobile phone. Learning to use my phone has made such a difference to my life. I can now ‘facetime’ my son and grandchildren who live in Queensland which makes me so happy.

I am involved in group messages with my other son and granddaughters in Sydney which makes me feel more involved and up to date with their busy lives. I am excited to next learn to take photos with my mobile phone, so I can send photos to my grandchildren. Meditech have helped me, at 84 years old, get up to date with technology and feel like I have not been left behind. The support is invaluable.

My mother now requires full assistance to undertake her personal care and we found Meditech staffing had a care worker who is understanding, skilled and really cares about doing her job well. My mother is comfortable with the worker and the Meditech staff have worked with us to make sure we get the services and high quality care which my mother currently needs. This has been a big relief for myself and my brother. We are now talking to Meditech about training an additional worker so we will have someone helping my mum 7 days a week!
